Hi all:
New book out.
Amazon.com: What Honour Demands eBook : Boulter, D.A.: Kindle Store
Teel-Riv, a Seer of The People, sees two possible futures. First: a prophesied invasion of her island occurs, with a cruel interstellar empire destroying her society, but her hopes, dreams, and happiness survive. Second: someone, also prophesied, averts the invasion, but Teel-Riv's hopes and dreams vanish in the process.
Enlisted to aid in the defence of her island, and with time running out, Teel-Riv discovers a possible solution, leading her to believe she might be the one of prophecy. However, for it to succeed, she needs to convince others with no ties to her society to risk their lives in defence of her people.
No matter which vision she tries to make manifest, people will die. The only question is who and how many. The demands of honour drive her to make hard choices, which may scar her forever if she cannot find a third option.
